How Hunting Safari Pricing Works

If this is your first time looking at African hunting prices, here is how it works. The total cost of your safari is made up of two main components: a daily rate and individual trophy fees.

Daily Rate covers your Professional Hunter (PH), tracker, hunting vehicle, accommodation, meals, and airport transfers. For the complete daily rate schedule and what is included, see our Hunting Price List.

Trophy Fees are charged per animal, only when an animal is successfully harvested or wounded. You choose which species you want to hunt before your safari, and we will help you build a package that fits your goals and budget. There are no hidden costs — the prices listed above are exactly what you will pay.

Daily Rates

Daily rates start from $350 / €245 / 1.820 DKK per hunter per day (2×1) and include your Professional Hunter, lodge accommodation, all meals and drinks, hunting vehicle, and airport transfers. For the complete daily rate schedule and what is included, see our Hunting Price List.

Trophy Fees — Plains Game

Our hunting concessions in the Limpopo Province offer some of the finest plains game hunting in South Africa. All trophy fees apply when an animal is taken or wounded.

Wounded and Lost Game Policy

All animals wounded and not recovered will be charged at the full trophy fee. Your Professional Hunter will only advise a shot when he is confident of a clean, ethical harvest. We take every precaution to ensure humane, one-shot kills — it is the foundation of fair chase hunting.

What is the difference between a daily rate and a trophy fee?

Do I pay trophy fees if I do not shoot anything?

No. Trophy fees only apply when an animal is successfully harvested or wounded. You will still pay the daily rate for the hunting experience, but there are no trophy fees if no animals are taken.

Are trophy fees the same for rifle and bow hunting?

Yes. Trophy fees are identical for both rifle and bow hunting. Only the daily rates differ slightly. See our Hunting Price List for bow hunting daily rates.

What happens if I wound an animal but it is not recovered?

All animals wounded and not recovered are charged at the full trophy fee. Your Professional Hunter will only advise a shot when confident of a clean, ethical harvest.

Can I choose which species to hunt before arrival?

Are there any additional costs beyond trophy fees and daily rates?

How do I pay for trophy fees?

Trophy fees are settled at the end of your hunt, once final tallies are confirmed. We accept bank transfer (USD), credit card, and cash. For deposit and payment details, see our Hunting Price List.
